Radio sound quality can be dramatically upgraded and station selection substantially increased by tuning in to some of the now 1,826 HD™ stations currently broadcasting using new HD technology on the Insignia 75W DVD/CD/HD Radio Compact Shelf System. This versatile system is loaded with features and sells for a comparatively low price.

It is one of the new HD products that include a digital AM/FM/HD radio tuner with 18 presets and a progressive-scan, tray loaded, DVD/CD/MP3 player. The front panel USB port works easily with iPods and is compatible with MP3 players and other digital devices – all in a main unit that is smaller than a shoebox! Twin 2-way speakers feature a 1" tweeter and a 4" woofer.

The use of progressive-scan video output technology insures optimal DVD picture quality when combined with an HD digital TV or monitor. The USB port provides music playback control including play, pause/stop, fast forward, skip forward, rewind, skip back and random settings.

The CD player has random/repeat functions, track programming and direct track access. The unit has multiple digital signal processing modes include Dolby Digital decoding and 6 preset equalizers.
